On Tuesday morning, August 5, Ogle County Deputies took a burglary report at a building in the 4000 block of W. IL Rte. 64 where numerous tools were taken.
On Monday, August 11, Deputies conducted a follow up investigation in the 100 block of S. Wesley Ave. in Mt. Morris. During the investigation, Deputies located numerous stolen items on a male suspect, which were identified as the items belonging to the victim that were stolen from the building. Other stolen items from the victim were also located from an address in the 200 block of S. Wesley Ave.
The suspect, 54-year-old Robert Disch of Mt. Morris was placed under arrest for Theft over $500 but under $10,000 (class 3 felony, possession of stolen items). Disch was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was released on a Notice to Appear and given a future court date.
